Chandrashekhar Solanki, Inspector General of Police (SAF) Indore Range and Director, RAPTC Indore, celebrated his birthday today in Indore amidst warm wishes from senior police officials and colleagues. A ceremonial cake-cutting event was organised in his honour in the presence of Director General of Police Kailash Makwana, ADG Chanchal Shekhar, Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, IG Anurag, DIG Amit Singh, DCP Mayank Awasthi and several senior IPS officers.
Originally belonging to Ujjain, Shri Chandrashekhar Solanki is an MBA in Marketing and also holds a PhD degree. Recognised as a dynamic and visionary IPS officer, he is widely respected for his dedication, disciplined leadership, administrative efficiency and commitment towards public service.
During the occasion, DGP Kailash Makwana praised IG Solanki’s contribution to modern and citizen-centric policing, highlighting his innovative administrative initiatives and remarkable service record across Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Solanki began his policing career as an IPS Probationer in Chhatarpur and later served as CSP in Jabalpur and Hoshangabad. Over the years, he has held several significant positions including Additional SP Bhopal, SP Ashok Nagar, SP Datia, SP Umaria, AIG SISF, Additional IG Telecommunication, SP Dewas and DIG Indore Range.
Currently serving as IGP (SAF) Indore Range and Director, RAPTC Indore, Shri Chandrashekhar Solanki continues to be known for his energetic leadership, strategic vision and dedicated approach towards strengthening policing, training excellence and public trust.
